Ozone reactor
Oxygen / Ozone Reactor are used for increasing oxygen levers or adding ozone to water. They are efficient at doing this because they provide a large water to gas surface interface where exchange can take place, in a confined area. The unit operates under a small amount of pressure, 0.25 PSI, and this enhances the efficiency of the gas exchange, yet still permits the unit to be operated on a low energy, low pressure pump and low pressure oxygen supply systems, thus the units are economical and efficient. The dissolved oxygen levels in water basically result from the oxygen concentration in air, 20.9%, and this provides normal levels of oxygen. The dissolved oxygen levels are affected in a minor way by temperature, salinity and elevation. But the biggest factor that affects the level in water is concentration of oxygen in the atmosphere. What Oxygen Reactors do is provide a containment atmosphere with a much higher level of oxygen and then apply to water by breaking the surface tension on a large surface area of water. Using an \Oxygen/Ozone Reactor\, the dissolved oxygen and ozone levels achievable are directly related to the volume of water passing through the unit in a given time frame and the purity of the oxygen gas supply. Dissolved oxygen levels of up to 45ppm are possible. On a typical installation, with an oxygen gas supply of a purity greater than 90%, one could expect exit water to contain around 20ppm dissolved oxygen. This water when added to a mixing sump or incorporated in a general supply line, would enhance greatly the overall level of dissolved oxygen in that supply line. Regarding ozone application by an Oxygen Ozone Reactor, these units are very efficient both in freshwater and saltwater. It is recommended that Ozone Generators be controlled by ORP devices and that regular cleaning and calibration of monitoring equipment is essential.

Static mixer
The “static mixer” comes with standard 6 mm air hose connectors and can instantly be connected to the existing air supply. The “static mixer” mixes the air with the water flow. The Stainless steel blades assure an optimum mix of air with the water due to the circulation of the water. Also these blades “smash” big air bubbles, into smaller air bubbles which ensures better oxyge absorption. The static mixer has a relatively low resistance so that economical pumps can be used. Optimum flow 8 - 12m³/hour.
