Water lily akadama 10 l
Water Lily Akadama is an ecological pond substrate, which is produced in Japan with a slow drying from the island of Honshu. It consists of granules of 1-4 mm. Compared to the commonly used pond substrate on aquatic plants, the acadam granules have many advantages. Inside, they have thousands of pores that increase the active filter area (280 m˛ per 1 liter of substrate). The size of this area is directly proportional to the number of useful nitrate and nitrifying bacteria that are essential for biological balance in the pond. The Aquaclay Ground Granules are, moreover, easier than conventional soil. Therefore, the substrate does not fit and does not cause corrosion. Better water flow ensures optimal nutrient intake from water to root crops, which gives more nutrients from the water. The water lil akadama substrate does not contain any nutrients, so nutrients do not exclude nutrients from regular substrates into the pond and there is no risk of growth of fibrous algae.
